3 Ways to Make the Most of Black Friday Travel Deals - scenic picture of Rio de janeiro

If you’ve been just shopping the high street every Black Friday for the last few years then you may have been doing it wrong. Because the travel industry loves their Black Friday travel deals just as much as high street retailers do. Maybe even more.

So it should come as no surprise to hear that if you’re organised, you can bag yourself a good travel deal or two. Just make sure you’re signed up for those newsletters and keep your eyes open for the best Black Friday travel deals so that you can:

1. Bag yourself some cheaper flights

Whether you’d like to bag a set of return short-haul flights on a budget carrier or treat yourself to a nice little upgrade on some slightly more affordable business or first-class flights, good deals are out there to be had. Airlines run their own promotions all year round but they tend to ramp things up a little during Black Friday, particularly because they’re competing against the rest of the market.

Tip; use a flight comparison tool like Sky Scanner to make sure you are getting the best Black Friday flight deals out there.

2. Find the perfect package holiday

When it comes to finding the perfect package holiday we are spoilt for choice. Whilst it has been incredibly sad to see industry giants like Thomas Cook disappear, there are still a lot of travel companies, websites, clubs and booking sites out there competing for our attention in a very crowded market place. I’m always on the lookout for a good deal and Black Friday can be the perfect time to pick up.

Tip; make sure you’re signed up to newsletters and have your profile and preferences set up so that you can get the perfect travel deals sent to you as soon as they become available.

3. Save on pricy park tickets

Park tickets are one of the biggest hidden expenses of trips. So Black Friday is a perfect opportunity to get a good deal on great value Florida tickets and just about any other theme park tickets in the UK or abroad if you shop around. Pre-booking tickets for days out before we go on a holiday is one of our favourite travel hacks because its such a cost saver. So if you can get a good deal during Black Friday it’s even better!

I know how easy it can be to get caught up in all the promotional excitement around Black Friday. But before you book anything be sure to read the small print and any exclusions to make sure you really are getting the best deal for your money. Otherwise good luck and happy Black Friday shopping!
