My gratitude list this week reflects the slightly slower, quieter week I’ve had. Which has very much been focused on settling the littlest into nursery, not leaving much time for anything else. But I havent minded spending more time at home than I’d usually like to, I think because I know maternity leave is coming to an end and soon this will all be a distant memory. So although its been a quiet week, its been a good week with lots to feel gratitude for, especially on the blog front as you’ll see!
#1 Being nominated for London’s favourite Mummy blogger in the Motherhood awards which I find incredibly flattering, but also insane considering how many amazing blogs and bloggers there are out there. I have no idea who or how many people nominated me, but thank you to anyone who did. I am beyond grateful!
#2 Making it into the top 250 Tots 100! Something that I am really excited about. I know it’s not all about the stats, but for me its an amazing achievement for my blog to be ranked as 211 out of over 10,000 other parent bloggers across the country.
#3 Being offered an exciting job opportunity at a new organisation and accepting it!
#4 Going for a lovely breakfast and bike ride in the park with our family on the weekend to celebrate both mine and my sister in laws new jobs.
#5 Going for a lovely lunch in Wimbledon with my sister in law, something that we’ve never really had the chance to do before.
#6 Finally finding a pair of jeans that I have been hunting down in stores for weeks with no luck.
#7 Ordering a garland for the little ones room after waiting for it to come back into stock over the last few weeks.
#8 Work on our garden finally starting after months of planning and conversations. I can’t wait until its finished and we can enjoy the lovely new space with the little ones and our families.
What are you feeling grateful for this week? I’d love it if you shared them with me in the comments section below.
