Practicing Gratitude Works. Gratitude List #21

Gratitude list image - seagull soaring in blue skiesI am so glad that I’ve started writing these gratitude lists. I said it last week and I’ll say it again, life is so much better when I practice gratitude. It’s amazing how much more positive and upbeat I feel, and more importantly how much amazing stuff has happened in the space of a week. Practicing gratitude really does work!

Its been a pretty amazing week. So many exciting things are happening in every facet of my life and I can barely keep up with it, but you know what, I prefer it a million times over to the way that I was thinking and feeling just a few weeks ago. I’m in a totally different place and I can feel it. As always there are so many things to feel grateful for this week, the big and the small including:

#1 A last minute and very fun day out at Chessington with my sister and the little ones. We had such a lovely time and Ella really enjoyed her first theme park experience.

#2 Getting sent a set of MegaBloks for each of the children as part of a collaboration with the blog. I always feel like our children are so lucky to be sent so many lovely things to play with, test and review.

#3 Getting sent some amazing new GLTC toys and furniture for us to test with the little ones over the next few weeks.

#4 A lovely Mothers Day at home with the Mr and the little ones. It was a very quiet one, but it was just what this mama needed.

#5 Getting to go to the No7 event with my sister this week. It was lovely to meet some other bloggers that I speak to online, hear some inspirational women speak and just generally have a few hours where I got to talk to adults, eat grown up food and drink a little bit of alcohol. A night off well spent I’d say!

#6 Seeing the little guy learn to wave for the first time this week. Every single first is so special and this one was no exception. I can’t believe how much our little guy has grown.

#7 Finally getting all our family photos that we’ve been meaning to print for the last five years printed . It feels like massive progress on the home project front and it feels like everything is finally coming together. I just cant wait to actually get them up on the walls now.

#8 Finding the gumption to pick my little business project back off the floor and get it going again – I’m totally feeling the fear and doing it anyway, watch this space!

#9 More exciting new collaborations and opportunities from the blog.

Attending a show :- A Musical, Oklahoma.. We went witha group from the church. It seems that this is an annual event for the church group. Think we may get saving up for next year. A really nice group of people, friendly and with a good sense of humour. Thank Goodness for their Kindness and attitude of inclusiveness.

It seems that an Attitude of Gratitude is a way of life that needs to be encouraged, as it has Health Benefits etc.

I have been trying to teach Peachy how to wave for many months. In the beginning it seemed like she was going to do it but now she just laughs at me. She has figured out clapping and loves doing that, but she just won’t wave. I don’t get it. #DreamTeam

I this it can be so powerful to reflect on the positive things that have happened and to record them like this. The No 7 event sounded great from what I’ve heard so far. Can’t wait to hear more about your business project too Emily. Thanks so much for linking with us. #DreamTeam x
