June has been a bit of a homeware month as a result of my current obsession with styling my new blogging and home office space. Its fair to say that I am very much curating my new space, with every single piece being very thoughfully and carefully selected. I want it to be a space that I love and love being in, so its really important to me that every piece has meaning, has a story to it or is just beautiful to look at so that I can be inspired and inspire whilst im in it. So here are my June favourites and a bit of a sneak peek into how my new blogging and home office space is shaping up. Enjoy!
1.Ce La Vie Notebook
This little notebook jumped out to me in TK Maxx earlier this month. The print and style are really similar to one of my current favourite stationery companies; Rifle Paper Co. It’s not unusual to find me on their website lusting over their gorgeous stationery and filling my online shopping basket with all the bits and pieces I’d love to buy. Usually what stops me from clicking that confirm button is the fact that they are US based. Whilst there are retailers in the UK that carry their lines, I usually can’t find the pieces I like over here and the other thing is the price. So the fact that this looked and felt like a Rifle Paper Co product, but was a fraction of the price meant that I just had to have it.
2. Aden & Anais Gap Limited Edition Organic Swaddle
I’ve wanted to get an Aden and Anais swaddle for the little one for ages. I love their prints and the quality is second to none. On one of my many Baby Gap shops I noticed that they had some limited and special edition Aden and Anais muslin and swaddle sets that matched their current babywear range. So when this cute print went into sale at 50% off I just had to get it along with the matching Baby Gap grow to go with it. I cant wait to swaddle our little one in it, its gorgeous!
3. Star Led Light
I’m all about finding beautiful but affordable things to style and dress my new space. I’ve found some great pieces over the last few weeks, and slowly but surely I am creating a Pinterest worthy space that I cant wait to share very soon. One of my most recent finds was this little star led light from New Look of all places. I had no idea that they did a small but lovely homeware range, but they do and I found this little beauty which was a bargain and looks perfect on my gorgeous new GLTC shelves.
4. Marble iPhone Case
I’m massively into marble at the moment (who isn’t!) and love having accents of it around our home. Done right, I think it can look really classy and understated. Especially if you have real marble which is always my preference. I definitely prefer to spend a little bit more where furniture is concerned for the real thing. That said, I’ve noticed recently that you can get the marble effect in a lot of other things that you wouldn’t typically like note pads and phone cases which I actually really like, so decided to treat myself to a new iPhone marble effect case which I picked up from Amazon. I really love the way it instantly transforms my iPhone and makes it look a bit glam!
So those are my favourites for June. Lots of lovely things to make my new blogging space look pretty! What things have you found this month that you love and have brought you joy?
