Its a Marvellous New Year!

#MarvMondaysIt’s so exciting to be back for our first Marvellous Monday of the New Year. My lovely co-host Kaye @HelloArchie_ over at Hello Archie and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year break and are back and ready to start the year with joie de vivre! The first Monday back in January is always a tough one, but hopefully together we can make it a little bit more Marvellous with lots of lovely posts to kick us off.

With your support we made a great start to Marvellous Mondays in 2015, but we want to make 2016 even better. It was great to see so many of you regularly linking up each week in 2015 and to hear that lots of you are meeting new people, discovering new blogs and benefitting from it in other ways too. Marvellous Mondays is already a great place, but we can make it even better, so tell your friends, diarise it, put it in your blog planner and don’t forget to subscribe to our email reminders below. Because 2016 is the year that we turn Marvellous Mondays from just a linky into a community of marvellous people!

Featured Posts

Lots of you linked up with our last Marvellous Mondays in December so we have two fantastic featured posts to share and kick off our first featured posts of 2016!

Our first featured post was Christmas – The Baby Edit by Told By Mum who wrote a great post on how Christmas changes once you have children. It was a post that most parents could probably relate to and probably add one or things to as well. Although I think most of us would agree that despite all the changes, Christmas does in quite a strange way change for the better.

Our second featured post was by Mum in Brum who linked up a guest post from her Us After You series which features some of her favourite bloggers talking about what having a baby has meant for their relationships. Again it was a post that highlighted how both small and big things can change the dynamics and nature of your relationship with your partner once you have children which is hugely relatable for most if not all parents!

Guidelines

1. You can link up to two posts per week. Posts can be new or old and on any topic you would like to share and promote.

2. We’d love it if you could make sure you’re following Kaye (@HelloArchie_) and myself, Emily (@MyPetitCanard) on Twitter – mainly to ensure we can keep up with you all and remind you of the next weeks link-up!

3. Add the Marvellous Monday’s badge to the bottom of your post, or sidebar if you prefer. It’s really simple and easy to do, just copy and paste the HTML code from the badge below.

4. In true linky fashion, please share the love and comment on one of the hosts posts and at least one other post of your choosing per week. When commenting use the hashtag #MarvMondays so that they know how you have found their post.

Feel free to use the hashtag #MarvMondays when sharing your posts on Twitter and include either @MyPetitCanard or @HelloArchie_ so that we can share your Marvellous posts on our own networks.

The linky opens at 6am and closes at 11.55pm on Monday. Happy linking and as always, have a Marvellous Monday!
