February Favourites

February Favourites - Essie handcream, River Island Jeans, H&M lace top, MAC lipstick, white tulips and pink tulips flatlayFebruary has been a great month for pretty Spring wardrobe additions and gorgeous beauty products. I always seem to find the most wonderful things when I’m not looking or purposely shopping for them. I’ve found some lovely statement pieces and staples for this seasons wardrobe, and have added a couple of new beauty products into my ever growing collection. It’s a good job this post is just focused on my favourites for the month otherwise it would be a pretty long (and probably boring) post. Anyway, here are my February favourites!

River Island Jeans

I bought a pair of distressed jeans in an almost identical wash from Top Shop last month, and then I saw these Alannah skinny jeans couple of weeks ago in River Island and fell in love with them on the spot. I just love the distressed bottoms which you don’t see around as much at the moment, and after looking around for some for the last few weeks I just knew I had to buy these as soon as I saw them. Plus they were in my exact size in store which is such a rarity it was practically a sign to buy them!

MAC Lipstick

I feel like I’m buying a MAC lipstick every month at the moment and that each time I buy one I’m declaring its my new favourite, only to buy a new “favourite” the next month. Well February has been no different with me falling head over heels with my latest MAC lipstick purchase Really Me. The most gorgeous matte nude pink that I am totally in love with wearing anywhere and everywhere at the moment.

Essie Many Many Mani Spa Handcream

I am always on the hunt for a good handcream, having what look like the hands of an 80 year old these days. Whilst maternity leave has been wonderful in many ways, the constant hand washing has done my hands no favours. When I was at work I always used to have a tube of Laura Mercier yummy smelling handcream in my handbag, but my good handcream habits have fallen by the wayside over the last eight months or so. Only recently have I started using handcream religiously again, and even more recently painting my nails again, and so I decided to get myself a tube of Essie Many Many Mani Spa Manicure handcream. Because not only is it an intensive hand lotion (these hands need all the moisture they can get), but it is also compatible with Essie nail polishes which is such a winning combination for me. Having used this now for the last week or so, I can tell you that this is one of the nicest smelling and hydrating handcreams I have ever used. I will definitely be buying myself another tube of this.

H&M Lace Top

One of my first wardrobe buys for this Spring was this gorgeous lace top from H&M which I absolutely adore. I can never get enough of pretty lace clothes and like the jeans, knew as soon as I saw this that I had to have it. I’m not quite sure what type of wardrobe I am going to go for this Spring, but I have a feeling that this may be a key piece from it. All I need now is somewhere equally lovely to wear it to!

So those are all of my February favourites. Lots of beautiful things that make me feel happy and bring me joy.

I’d love to hear what things you’ve bought or have been gifted this month that have brought you joy in the comments below.

There is something about lipstick isn’t there?! Beautiful colour too – goes with anything.

There’s a Charlotte Tilbury one I’m eyeing up at the moment. Not that I need anymore lipstick mind you!

There definitely is! A beautiful shade of lipstick can really make you feel quite wonderful, and Charlotte Tilbury does do some lovely lipsticks I have to say 🙂
