Like June, my July favourites have been quite heavily been focused on homeware, with some more lovely finds for my little blogging space project and our more recent hallway project that we started. Its taking me a little while longer to complete them than I had hoped, but we are definitely almost there now. One or two more pieces and then I think we’ll be done! So here are my July favourites, with again some fantastic finds from the New Look Home range which I am just loving at the moment.
1. Smiley Face Succulents
My absolute favourite find this month are these pastel pink and mint smiley face succulents plants from New Look Home. Since discovering their new homeware range last month I cant help but pop in store when I’m in town to see what new pieces they have in, and as soon as I saw these there was no way I was leaving without them. They are the cutest little plant pots I have ever seen and I love the pastel colours and thought these would be perfect to dress our new GLTC shelves that we’ve put up in the hallway. They are faux succulents but look so convincingly real. I hate faux plants with a passion, but I was so impressed with these that for once I didn’t mind. They are also really reasonably priced at only £4.99 each, a steal if you ask me!
2. Copper Potted Succulent
At the same time that I discovered the smiley face succulents I also saw this copper potted beauty. Perfect as I have been looking for a plant or three to adorn my own gorgeous GLTC shelves in my new blogging area at home. I am loving copper and rose gold at the moment so this was a perfect addition to my new space. It fits perfectly with the colour scheme, look and feel that I am creating for myself. Again this is a faux plant, but is so well presented that you would never know. It’s a similar size to the smiley face succulents and is also priced £4.99.
3. Baby Milestone Cards
Finally I am loving these baby milestone cards that I purchased from Paper and Wool through Not on The High Street. I wanted something distinctly different from the recognisable Milestone cards that most places sell and really liked the monochrome look and feel of these ones. There are 24 cards capturing lots of different milestones which include all the monthly milestones that you would expect to see as well as lots of other first year milestones. I didn’t have any of these the first time round and really regret not getting them so I am really looking forward to using these with the little man. These are a little more pricy than the Milestone cards at £20 but the quality of them is great and what you’re paying for here is the unique design.
So those are my July favourites. Lots more things to make our home beautiful and capture exciting new milestones. What things have you found this month that you love and have brought you joy?
