March has been a pretty good month for new finds and buys, more so than usual it feels like. Which got me thinking about starting a new monthly feature of my favourite buys for each month, because there are just some things that are too lovely not to share. These might be big things or small things, things for me or the house, the husband, the little lady or bump. I think it’ll be nice to show another dimension of us and the types of things we like and enjoy. So here are my March favourites:
1. Specialist Tulips
I have totally got a thing for tulips at the moment and have taken to buying a bunch every single weekend for at least the last month, which you’ll already know if you follow me on Instagram (sorry for all the tulip spam!). I seriously can’t get enough of them. They are my favourite flowers after Peonies, and even though I am absolutely terrible at looking after and keeping flowers, I have made a real effort since I started buying tulips and have managed to make them last from weekend to weekend. I love getting a different colour bunch each week, and last week I was absolutely amazed by the specialist tulips I found in Waitrose. They are so gorgeous. All frilly and too pretty for words.
2. Letter Tray
I spotted this gorgeous letter tray in Chickidee when I was out shopping with the little lady. I’d seen something really similar in Kate Spade that I had been eyeing up for a while, but hadn’t quite committed to because it was a little pricey for what was. So when I spotted this beauty, which is so similar to the Kate Spade one I couldn’t not buy it. I think I actually love it.
3. Typography Posters
We’re in the process of finishing our home office and have got to the stage where we just need to add the finishing touches, the biggest one being a gallery wall. I’ve wanted a gallery wall for ages but it has taken me so long to get around to deciding what to put on the walls (I am very indecisive!). I love these typography prints that I found on Not On The High Street and cant wait to finally get them up in the office.
4. Message on a Heart
I saw this little heart in Chickidee at the same time that I found the letter tray and loved the message on it. I love positive messages and affirmations and really want to make sure these are infused around our office here and there, as well as more boldly on our gallery wall.
5. C’est Bon Sweatshirt
I love this very cute “C’est Bon” typography, slogan style sweatshirt that we stumbled on for the little lady in H&M. It was by pure chance that we saw it and that the only one we could find in the store was in her size. There was no way that we were going to leave the shop without it!
So those are my favourites for March, all things that I love and just can’t get enough of at the moment. I cant wait to see what we find in April! What things have you found this month that you love and bring you joy?

Great idea for a feature! Some lovely glamorous stuff! I think my favourite buy this month has been a wooden train set from a charity shop!! Can’t beat old stuff!! #thelist

Love all these things too, especially the C’est Bon sweatshirt…how adorable! xx
Ahh lovely stuff. Fresh flowers are so nice to have around aren’t they. A friend bought me some last week and they have really cheered me up. I like the idea of a letter tray but fear I would never see it under the mountain of letters to be filed etc! #marvmondays
Love that top for the little lady so cute 🙂 our house is so filled with plants that we rarely buy flowers but I reckon some Spring tulips would look lovely! Thanks for hosting xz

A great list lovely. Always nice to have some flowers.
What an adorable haul! I really love the font of the prints that you are going to hang on your gallery wall. Your office is going to look smashing! Are you going to use your tray in the office too? It seems like it would be so cute with the heart and the prints. I love that you are getting fresh tulips every week. They are my favorite flower also, and I’ve been thinking about picking up flowers just to make the house pretty for no reason at all. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing with #sharethejoylinky!
Tulips are so spring, I love the colours and they brighten up any space. Popping by from #MarvMondays

I completely agree! I am completely obsessed with them so they keep sneaking into my blog pics here and there. They really are so pretty!
Lovely additions to your home. I love the little heart message (my in laws keep telling me that our house is a bit too heart orientated. I don’t think that’s possible), and the letter tray is adorable.
Looking forward to reading about your April finds.

My favorite find this month really tough to settle on actually! I’d have to say fresh flowers are it, too. I have some yellow ones on my window sill right now…they make everything more cheerful. What are your tricks for making them last, if I may ask?
Author
Good choice! I love fresh flowers too, even if Im not that great at keeping them. No big tricks to be honest,I just make sure I cut the stems before I put them in water and then change the water half way through the week. My mother in law swears by putting a copper coin in the water to keep them from opening. A little bit strange, but she put one in a vase of my tulips on the weekend and so far they are still closed! 🙂
Love this idea and gorgeous bits, lovely. I am also completely obsessed with tulips at the moment, they’re so pretty!! In fact, you reminded me to buy some more today. Kaye xo

I adore the little letter tray too. So cute. Thanks for hosting #MarvMondays. I am sorry it has taken me so long to comment. Hugs Lucy xxxx
Peonies are my favourites too!! I really wanted them in my wedding bouquet but we got married at the wrong time of year. I have not come across Chickadee before but I am now going to be ehecking it out! Thanks for hosting #MarvMondays xx
