LANACare Breastfeeding and baby products review

LANACare Wool Mittens, Booties & Bib

Have you ever found a product that you fell in love with the moment you started using it? A product so wonderful that you felt like shouting about it from the rooftops and telling everyone you know about it whether or not they wanted or needed to know?

Introducing LANACare

That’s how I felt about LANACare back when we first discovered them in July and started using their beautiful products. Products that all pregnant and new mums should know about if they are considering breastfeeding or want to clothe their babies in the warmest, softest merino wool known to man.

LANACare is a Danish company that make wool-based products for mothers, babies and the home and their mission is simple; to dress children and breastfeeding mothers in pure, soft and comfortable merino wool that brings health and provides comfort for mothers and babies. Something that they have achieved without a doubt.

I have never known or felt anything softer than their breastfeeding pads and babies and children’s booties, bibs and mittens.

Their breastfeeding pads are the most luxurious things I have ever worn. The merino wool they are made from makes them naturally soft, and the lanolin they are coated in makes them unbelievably gentle on the skin and means that you don’t have to apply it separately.

As soon as I put them on for the first time I knew I would never go back to disposable breast pads. I even enjoyed the process of cleaning them and adding the lanolin to them after using them, which firstly is surprisingly easy.

Secondly isn’t as often as you’d think it is and thirdly, is strangely therapeutic. I have loved using these and really feel like they helped soothe my sore cracked nipples as my body adjusted to breastfeeding again after three years.

I would massively recommend them as an alternative to disposables and only wish I’d known about these the first time round as they would have saved me from a whole world of pain.

Then there are the children’s products which I promise you are one of the softest, cutest things you’ll ever put on your child. For Louis we have been trying their mittens, booties and teething bib, and for a baby that permanently has freezing fingers and toes, they certainly are toasty after he’s been wearing these.

We have just started using them recently as the weather has started to get cooler and they are currently my favourite thing to put on him when we go out, although I have been using the booties at home too as they are perfect both indoors and outdoors.

The teething bib is a fantastic little innovation as it doesn’t get soaked like other traditional bibs, and nor does baby which also means you also get much longer wear from it, which when you have a teething baby is so important.

Our little guy has been showing symptoms of teething for the last few weeks so we’ve certainly been putting it through its paces! We much prefer using this to a cotton one and would highly recommend investing in one if you have a teething little one on your hands.

LANACare for the family

But LANACare isn’t just for babies and breastfeeding mothers, it’s for the whole family and home, and so the little lady has enjoyed putting their wool socks to very good use over the last few months.

Light, comfy and with the LANACare trademark softness, they have very quickly replaced her slippers at home. What’s better is that they make them in adult size too, so I know what I’ll be gifting myself and Chris this Christmas.

LANACare is probably one of my favourite breastfeeding and baby products brands. If you’re breastfeeding their breastfeeding pads are one of the best things you can treat yourself to.

LANACare really does make some of the best things that you can buy yourself and your little ones in the softest, gentle, organic, chemical-free merino wool. Now I don’t think you can put a price on that.

Disclosure; we were gifted these LANACare items for the purpose of a fair and honest. review. However, all thoughts and opinions are our own.
