2018 Highlights

What. A. Year. 2018, phewwww.

It wouldn’t be right to start 2019 without looking back at our highlights from last year. I love being able to look back at post like these to remind myself of just how much we’ve done and how far we’ve come. Surprisingly 2018 was very much like 2017, packed with lots of family adventures and just enough travel to keep our wunderlust in check.

Our highlights from 2018 include holidays to Gran Canaria and Efteling in the Netherlands. Strawberry picking at Garsons Farm, picnics in the park and BBQs in the garden most weekends. The children’s joint unicorn and dinosaur themed birthday party and a jam packed Christmas with no less than three visits to see Father Christmas, Peter Pan on Ice and dream Christmas presents. Chris and I managed to squeeze in a few date nights throughout the year and even got a few decent photos of the two of us. So all in all, a pretty decent year.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what unfolds this year. We have lots of plans, goals and ambitions we’d like to achieve, lots of things we’d like to do and of course, lots of places we’d like to visit. I want to grow Our Pretty Stories, take My Petit Canard to its next stage of evolution and find more of a balance between my passion projects and work which became all consuming in 2018. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this year. I’ve a feeling its going to be a great one so hope you guys will join us on the journey!
