September Favourites

September has been an exciting month as far as favourites go. In fact, its been pretty life changing from a blogging perspective. So many beautiful finds, and the most wonderful gift too. September is often the month that many of us bloggers put renewed energy into our blogs after the long summer holiday and with these lovely pieces I am defintely excited about stepping it up a gear. So here are my September favourites!

Olympus Pen

*Sigh*. Where to start. All I can say is that all of my blogger dreams came true this month. Ok, maybe not all of them, but a very big one! I’ve been lusting over this beauty of a camera ever since I saw it on Lydia Elise Millen’s blog last year, obsessing about when (not if!) I might eventually be so lucky to lay my hands on the Olympus Pen E-PL7. Over the last year as I’ve started to get more and more serious about blogging the need to invest in a proper camera has become a little obsession of mine, and this month thanks to my lovely Mr I finally became the proud owner of one. Now i’m snap snapping away like a proud little blogger, learning about aperture and all sorts of things that I had no clue about. Whilst my iPhone 7 did me proud for the last few years, this will hopefully be one of the last few iPhone pictures to grace my blog.

Big Magic

I love hearing and seeing book recommendations from some of my favourite Instagrammers and bloggers, and when I saw Emma Gannon (one of my fave bloggers) had given Emma Gannon a big thumbs up I was straight on to Amazon to order my copy. No one can ever say that us bloggers aren’t influencers! Big Magic is written by Elizabeth Gilbert, the same author who wrote Eat, Pray, Love which I absolutely love, so I am looking forward to getting more into this book over the next few weeks. Since having the little ones I struggle to find the time to pick up a book that isn’t picture based, but after managing to actually read most of Fiona Humberstone’s Style Your Brand last month (see my August Favourites!) I am holding out hope that it wasnt a one off!

Rifle Paper Co Desk Pad

Ever since I discovered Rifle Paper Co last year I have lusted over their pretty as a picture stationery. The only thing that had stopped me until now, was the distance and the tax import to ship their gorgeous stationery from the US to the UK. But recently I realised I desperately needed a desk pad. It was the only way I was going to keep up with all the linkies that I now join each week, and nowhere else other than Rifle Paper was going to do. So I was besides myself when discovered Lilac Coast on Not On The High Street who sell this beauty of a desk pad on our very own british sandy (ok pebbly) shores. Its perfect and I love it.

Hanger Paper Clips

Who doesn’t need a little bit of desk eye candy? I saw these too cool for school gold hanger paper clips in Hema and just had to have them. They don’t really have anywhere to go on my desk just yet, but im sure I’ll be able to make room for them! Plus, it’s a pretty good excuse to buy a little trinket dish for my desk. I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy one over the last few months. Life made.

So those are my September favourites. Lots of lovely blogging related things. What things have you found this month that you love and have brought you joy?

I’ve been thinking about requesting a camera but then I think I’ll hold back and wait to see how I get on with my blog as it hasn’t even been a year yet. I’ll still be off to check it out for future reference! x #BloggerClubUK
